Nestled in the heart of Pastena’s (FR) unspoiled nature, on Via Cavatelle, our facility offers much more than just a riding school: we provide authentic equestrian tourism experiences for those who want to explore the area at a leisurely pace, in an exciting way, and in close contact with nature 🌳☀️. We organize horseback rides and treks—suitable even for beginners 🐎—along ancient trails, historic horse trails, and routes through the woods of the Ausoni Mountains. One of the most picturesque routes follows the ancient horse trail leading to the famous Pastena Caves 🪨✨, crossing the characteristic “Sentiero del Vecchio Confine” (Old Border Trail) between Pastena and Castro dei Volsci. Along the way, you can admire the old border marker and stop at the historic Fontanile delle Cavatelle, a place rich in charm and tradition 💧🌿. The excursion continues to the caves, where you can take a guided tour inside the karst complex. For those who prefer to mix things up, you can also continue part of the trek on foot 🚶‍♂️🐴. 🍷 During the day, we can arrange a short break or an aperitif before or after the cave tour, so you can enjoy the scenery and local flavors. 🌄 Multi-Day Hikes For those who want an even more immersive experience, we organize two- or multi-day hikes with the option to stay overnight ⛺🏡: in your own tent surrounded by nature or at the lodge in total relaxation The next morning, after a hearty breakfast featuring local specialties served on the terrace or in the garden 🥐🍯☕, we set off again for the second part of the excursion, continuing our journey along trails, through woods, and past the breathtaking views of the Ciociaria region 🌿🐎. ✨ An authentic experience designed for families, groups of friends, horse enthusiasts, and adventure lovers, where nature, history, and traditions come together in a unique atmosphere.
