About this place
The Collegiate Church of Sant’Esuperanzio stands outside Cingoli’s walls and is one of the town’s main religious monuments. The thirteenth-century church preserves Romanesque and Gothic forms and a doorway carved by master Giacomo, completed in 1295, whose figures and decoration frame the entrance.
A visit introduces the devotion to the patron saint, whose relics are kept in the crypt. The interior also houses Gaetano Callido’s restored organ of 1792. It is a stop to combine with the historic centre, respecting church services and opening arrangements.
